As you may have guessed, Rowling is anti-Brexit. But more importantly, she is pro-owl.

Here are just a three ways in which owls are totally rad.

1. The feathery ear-looking bits on some owls are called "plumicorns".

2. The Eastern Screech Owl furnishes its nest with actual snakes for house-keeping purposes.

3. When owls twist their heads around exorcist-style, their blood vessels balloon out to create blood reservoirs.
