Graduating class of 2017, there are a few people you need to thank for getting you to where you are today.

1. Your parents for literally everything.

2. Your family for their love and support.

3. Your friends for their understanding and guidance.

4. Most importantly, your pet for always making you feel better when you stressed about finals, and for just being cute.

Josh Bernal, a recent University of Texas Rio Grande Valley grad, showed his utmost appreciation for his little chihuahua, Attila, by dressing her up in a mini cap and gown fit for a doggie professor. Bernal loves his pup so much that even goes by Chihuahua Pappy on Twitter.

Although Bernal is graduation with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, someone should give Attila a medical degree because she'll need to help us when our hearts give out from witnessing this much cuteness.

This chihuahua's A+ outfit features a fake shirt and tie under a graduation robe, a little cap, and fake hands to help grab her well-deserved diploma.

Bernal was gifted Attila's outfit by his friend Ashley as a graduation gift. He said he was immediately excited to take pictures of him and his pup in their matching regalia.

Attila, whose name apparently matches her "feisty" personality, didn't seem to mind being dressed up. Bernal said, "At first it was hard to keep the cap on her because the strap was a little too loose, but she's used to me putting her in outfits so she was a good sport."

Congratulations to both dad and dog for your amazing accomplishments. May you set an example for hardworking and determined pets and owners everywhere.
