Prepare to be underwhelmed by these British supermoon pics     DATE: 2024-05-29 16:31:10

LONDON -- Britons kept their eyes on the skies on Monday evening for a glimpse of this glorious, rare, majestic supermoon that everyone's been banging on about.

But, perhaps in keeping with the British psyche, most were left disappointed as grey, cloudy skies obscured the celestial sight.

Apparently there is a little more hope for a sighting on Tuesday night as the weather for areas north of the M4 is meant to be a little less cloudy.

The moon is meant to be similarly close again to the earth in 2034; that's not too long to wait, right?
