The organization put a $10,000 bounty on the job of a reporter at The Interceptwith a tweet late Monday night, accusing a reporter of improperly handling classified information in a way that led to the arrest of a whistleblower.

Anyone who outs the reporter in a way that leads to this reporter's firing is presumably entitled to the money.

Wikileaks wants the reporter fired after the Department of Justice charged Reality Leigh Winner, 25, with leaking classified NSA information, and told news outlets that Winner leaked to The Intercept. The Monday announcement came almost instantly after The Interceptpublished a four-author story on the same day that showed "a months-long Russian intelligence cyber effort against elements of the U.S. election and voting infrastructure."Wikileaks appears to believe the reporter revealed Winner's identity in trying to confirm the validity of the classified information, though The Interceptwrote in a brief Tuesday statement that "the FBI's claims about how it came to arrest Winner" aren't proven, and neither are the allegations against her.
