Government's new anti

2024-05-29 18:51:25      点击:047

Like that annoying kid who'd always challenge you to an arm wrestle at school, the Australian government loves talking about how strong it is. Usually in three word slogans. In this case, four.

It seems like the country's Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull now wants everyone to know about what appears to his latest fave slogan: "Strong Defence. Secure Borders." Big boys. Big toys. And no refugees allowed.

Sans comment from the Malc, the tough-talking campaign image appeared on Turnbull's Twitter account on Wednesday, unintentionally sparking a new era of government-related dank memes.

From the looks of the picture, it seems Australia is at war...with something.

It didn't take some cheeky Twitter users long to begin photoshopping their own versions of the government's fright-inducing, but ultimately cheesy, piece of anti-asylum seeker propaganda.

But most *concerning* is how other countries could perceive the image as representative of the entire Australian navy. That is, two ships and a plane.

Oh God, he's right! Malcolm, batten down the hatches!
